I believe we are all experts of our own path and I strive to work collaboratively with individuals and families to support self-discovery and empowerment. I am a clinician with over 8 years of experience treating adults, adolescents, and children with experiences ranging from acute trauma to depression, anxiety, adjustment and grief. Specializing in EMDR and IFS treatment as well as CBT+, DBT and mindfulness (see blog post for more information); I utilize a variety of effective strategies to help individuals and families heal and adapt to their present circumstances.

My strength as a therapist comes from my propensity to provide compassionate care while also bringing an element of humor and authenticity to facilitate a trusting therapeutic alliance. I have a broad range of experience, including providing combat-trauma treatment and military sexual trauma treatment to veterans, substance abuse treatment to adults and adolescents, LGTBQ issues, trauma treatment for adults and children, family therapy, and non-directive play therapy with younger children.

Finding a therapist can be overwhelming. I offer a free 20 minute phone consultation to give you the opportunity to ask specific questions, hear my voice, and get a sense of who I am before our first visit.
